NSCA Outstanding Shiba Inu Scent Work

This award is no longer being offered. This information is retained to recognize the accomplishments of previous winners.

The NSCA Outstanding Shiba Inu – Scent Work is designed to recognize the Shiba Inu demonstrating the fastest speed and drive in Scent Work during the preceding year. An award may be provided for each Scent Work level (SWN, SWA, SWE, and SWM).

Qualification:

  1. Provide official documentation of Scent Work trial that provides total times.
  2. This award is based on total time to complete the course in the level of which applied.
  3. Copy of AKC registration.
  4. Statement of NCSA membership of owner, by name. This will be verified by the Awards Committee.

If there is a tie then each submitter will be asked for placement(s) for the 16 Q's earned in the level they are applying for. Points will be assigned to each placement (first=4, second=3, third=2, fourth=1) and the applicant with the most points will be the winner.
